On Saturday & Sunday -23rd & 24th May 2015, Lilongwe Memon Association members travelled to Zomba with 2 two X30 ton truck loads of relief items. We distributed to X2100 families who are still living in camps. A remainder of X400 packs will be distributed soon.
The distribution was well organized and we had a lot of support from the youth of the Lilongwe Memon Association.
Lilongwe Memon Association would like to thank WMO [Africa Chapter] and a special thank you to Fazila & AK Ismail for their support. We would also like to thank all the Memon brothers and sisters who contributed in their individual capacity and pray that the Almighty Allah [SWT] accept our collective efforts for whatever we are able to do for those in less fortunate circumstances than ourselves. Ameen.
